Qualtrics and LangChain Announce Partnership to Develop Highly Specialized Experience Agents

Qualtrics supports open-source agent protocols to extend the impact of Experience Agents

QUALTRICS X4, SALT LAKE CITY, March 19, 2025 /PRNewswire/ — Qualtrics, the leader and creator of the experience management category, and LangChain, a leading platform for building and deploying AI applications using large language models (LLMs), today announced a partnership to develop Qualtrics® Experience Agents™ on LangChain’s LangGraph Platform.

Experience Agents are highly specialized AI agents from Qualtrics designed to interact directly with customers and employees in proactive, personalized, and brand-aligned ways, to foster loyalty and trust. They integrate seamlessly across every channel and touchpoint, are always available, and continuously observe structured and unstructured customer and employee feedback to close the loop with customers and employees at scale.

As part of the partnership, Qualtrics will use LangGraph Platform to build and manage Experience Agents. LangChain’s LangGraph Platform allows Qualtrics to design, deploy, and manage complex generative AI agent workflows with the efficiency and scale required. Qualtrics can manage and modify agents without coding and tap into LangGraph Platform’s robust APIs and advanced capabilities to debug agent interactions.

Qualtrics will also work with LangChain to create a standard open-source operating framework for building AI agents. Organizations are currently using multiple frameworks to build AI agents, which can make it difficult for different agents to work together. LangChain aims to overcome this challenge by providing a uniform framework for agent-to-agent communications, regardless of the platform they were built upon. By supporting LangChain in these efforts, Qualtrics will ensure Experience Agents integrate easily with other technology and transactional agents companies are already using to maximize their investments and business impact.

“Experience Agents are a transformative shift in how companies interact with their customers and employees, and make it possible to continually elevate their experience across every channel and touch point,” said Gurdeep Singh Pall, President, AI Strategy at Qualtrics. “Partnering with leading organizations like LangChain creates an open ecosystem in the development of agents, and ensures Qualtrics Experience Agents can work seamlessly with the tools and systems our customers already have in place.”

“This partnership represents a major step forward in the evolution of experience management,” said Harrison Chase, CEO and co-founder of LangChain. “With our innovative LangGraph Platform, we’re empowering Qualtrics to create specialized agents that not only enhance engagement but also foster deeper connections between businesses and their customers.”
