Since its inception, the program has launched 12 AI capabilities, with five graduating to general availability
CallRail, the AI-powered lead intelligence platform, is celebrating the one-year anniversary of their innovation program, CallRail Labs. CallRail Labs’ innovative approach speeds the time to get AI innovation into the hands of customers while providing CallRail valuable insights and feedback, ensuring customers receive the most impactful AI-driven capabilities. The program is available to users of Premium Conversation Intelligence at no extra cost and holds itself to the same strict standards of privacy as other CallRail offerings.
“Our goal is to create AI products and capabilities that create real, immediate impact for small businesses,” said Sean McCrohan, Vice President of Technology and leader of CallRail Labs. “CallRail Labs is the first of its kind space open to those who want to experience the latest conversational AI technology before it’s available in the market, while feeling confident that they’re going to continue to receive valuable and intentional AI-powered products.”
Since the launch of the program in 2023, CallRail Labs has released 12 features, including those that surface customer details mentioned on a call, if an appointment was scheduled and lead proprietary scoring based on the content of the conversation. Three of these capabilities – action plans, call coaching, and smart follow up – were combined to create the brand-new AI product, Convert Assist, launched July 17. The ability to automatically identify top questions asked to inform SEO strategy and marketing messaging was also made a permanent feature of Premium Conversation Intelligence in May.
Additionally, this month marks the graduation of self-reported attribution (patent pending) as the 5th alpha feature to become generally available as part of Premium Conversation Intelligence. With this feature, SMBs are able to easily see the impact brand, word of mouth, social media, and other difficult to track marketing efforts have had on generating leads, providing a more complete picture of marketing performance. The capability also allows for merging with digital attribution, enriching reporting capabilities by source. It’s the only AI-powered self-reported attribution tool available in-market.
“The ability to directly capture and analyze how customers found us promises to refine our targeting and optimization efforts significantly,” said Shawn Wanta, attorney and managing member at Wanta Thome PLC. “Self-reported attribution is particularly important for us, as we’ve been able to access invaluable insights into customers, which allows us to tailor our marketing campaigns more effectively. This feature could be a game-changer for us, I’m thankful we were able to be part of bringing this feature to life as part of the CallRail Labs program.”
To ensure customers get the highest quality AI insights and generative content possible, CallRail Labs partners with AssemblyAI to power AI solutions. Its speech-to-text model, Universal-1, is the most accurate model available and is trained on 12M+ hours of real, multilingual conversational data (including English, Spanish, French, German, Portuguese, Italian, and Dutch).
