The Deep Learning Advertising Platform will tap the region’s technical talent to advance data management and governance
Vancouver, BC – September 1, 2026 – Cognitiv, the leading advanced performance partner powered by deep learning, today announced its international expansion with the launch of a new engineering and data hub in Vancouver, the company’s first office outside the United States, officially opening September 1. The location will house Cognitiv’s growing team focused on big data, web data collection, attribution, and machine learning operations, serving as a center of excellence for data governance and modeling that supports the company’s Deep Learning Advertising Platform.
The Vancouver hub is part of Cognitiv’s continued investment in the infrastructure behind its performance-first approach to advertising. The new team, led by Eifphriame Angeles, Senior Director of Engineering at Cognitiv reporting directly to the SVP of Engineering, Stephen Curial, will bring in specialized local talent to guide how Cognitiv’s data should be managed, governed, and simplified for use across the business. As data operations continue to scale, this will accelerate decision-making and reduce friction for Cognitiv’s scientists and engineers who are building and training the company’s models. Vancouver’s Pacific time zone alignment with Cognitiv’s Seattle and San Francisco teams, along with its proximity to the strong engineering talent pipeline of the University of British Columbia and Simon Fraser University, make it a natural fit for Cognitiv’s technical expansion.
“Vancouver represents the next step in Cognitiv’s growth story, an incredible technical talent pool, and the chance to build a team from the ground up dedicated to responsible data stewardship and infrastructure. As Cognitiv scales, that foundation matters as much as the models we build on top of it,” said Stephen Curial, SVP of Engineering at Cognitiv. “As we continue to expand, this team will drive the innovation and results we deliver to clients with our Deep Learning Advertising Platform.”
The expansion arrives as Cognitiv continues to scale under its three co-founders, Jeremy Fain (CEO), Dr. Aaron Andalman (CSO), and Marc Hudacsko (CTO), who together steer the company’s platform, technology, and market expansion. Under their leadership, Cognitiv achieved a 388% surge in ContextGPT™ adoption and 67% increase in new clients in 2025. This growth earned Fain and Andalman spots on Adweek’s AI Power 50 list. That momentum carried into 2026 with the launch of Cognitiv’s full-funnel CTV solution, the launch of AudienceGPT™, and Fain’s recognition as an EY US Entrepreneur Of The Year 2026 New York Award finalist.
The new hub will also help Cognitiv navigate changes in global data privacy regulation. As Cognitiv’s data footprint grows internationally, the Vancouver team will ensure its systems are built to responsibly scale, enabling customers to achieve stronger performance without compromising privacy.
