A little over six years ago, I started my own podcast journey. Having recently sold my marketing agency, I could now turn my focus from the day-to-day of running an agency to sharing what I’ve learned in my work consulting and advising leading brands on marketing, growing customer value, and transformation to more digital business models. A critical component of all of this is the customer experience and what their relationship with a brand throughout their journey.
One of the premier thought leaders in the customer experience space is Mark Slatin. I am fortunate to have met Mark in several years ago when he was on his own journey, and have enjoyed seeing him achieve success, both inhouse at a leading financial institution, as well as with his consultancy, and his latest master class on customer experience. So, when Mark told me about his newly-launched podcast, I was eager to hear his unique take on it, and knowing that he had deep connections within the world of CX, I knew it would be a valuable listen for all.
In addition to his hands-on CX experience being client-side at a financial institution, Mark has some amazing credentials, including:
- He is a fixed term faculty member at the first ever Master’s Degree in CXM at MSU
- Top 25 CX Leader Globally (CX Magazine)
- He is a 2X CX Innovation Award Winner (CXPA)
- He served on the CXPA Board
So, cut to a little over a year later, and it became clear that there was an opportunity to bring Mark’s show to a wider audience through the foundation we’ve built here at The Agile Brand, and our network of podcasts. Our first show, The Agile Brand with Greg Kihlström is the top ranked enterprise marketing show in the world, and our other two shows, The Innovation Economy and B2B Agility are fast-growing in their areas as well.
The Delighted Customers Podcast with Mark Slatin interviews the top thinkers and practitioners in the industry and provides insights that are practical and actionable—not just hypothetical and abstract. I believe that The Delighted Customers Podcast fills a gap in a market where there is a lot of talk about what good CX is, but Mark and his guests go a step further and talk about how to actually achieve it.
Thus, I am thrilled to welcome Mark and his phenomenal conversations to The Agile Brand family, and the guests, topics, and insights provided are precisely the type of valuable content we strive to provide with all of our content. I’m looking forward to continuing to share valuable insights and ideas with the profession, and Mark’s show is a great addition to our network.
