Brief History of the Product
Optimizely was founded in 2010 by Dan Siroker and Pete Koomen, initially focusing on A/B testing tools. In October 2020, it was acquired by Episerver, a content management and digital commerce provider. Subsequently, in January 2021, Episerver rebranded itself as Optimizely, integrating its offerings into a unified platform. Optimizely One was launched in 2023 as an all-encompassing DXP, combining content management, experimentation, personalization, and data analytics into a single, AI-enhanced platform.
