Wireframes

Definition

Wireframes are generally related to web, mobile, or software application design. They can be considered “blueprints” for the pages that incorporate layout elements, features, functionality, and key content areas.

Wireframes are not to be confused with design mockups, which are much more prescriptive regarding creative elements (fonts, colors, exact layout), and are generally black and white line drawings with minimal focus on design.
