Brief History of the Product

Originally named Day Communiqué, Adobe acquired Day Software in 2010, transforming its technology into Adobe Experience Manager. It became a core component of Adobe’s broader marketing and digital experience ecosystem known as Adobe Experience Cloud. Over the years, AEM evolved from a content management system to a comprehensive platform offering personalization, digital asset management, and headless capabilities. AEM’s growth accelerated as Adobe integrated AI-driven enhancements through Adobe Sensei and transitioned to cloud-native deployments with Adobe Experience Manager as a Cloud Service in 2020.
