Brief History:

UserTesting was founded in 2007 by Darrell Benatar and Dave Garr to make user research faster, easier, and more affordable. The company initially focused on providing unmoderated remote usability testing services. Over time, UserTesting expanded its offerings to include various research methodologies, such as moderated testing, live interviews, and card sorting. In 2021, UserTesting went public on the New York Stock Exchange.  They were acquired by Thoma Bravo in 2022 and taken back private.  They continue to innovate in the human insights space, helping organizations gain a deeper understanding of their customers.
